Big Road was formed in 2000 by Mats Brandemark and Gunnar Hofverberg, who have written songs together for over 15 years. Their original material stems from the American rock, folk and country tradition, which has always been a big inspiration to the two songwriters. After some years of successful live performances, the band started studio recordings in May 2005. Their first single record (She Flies/Memory Lane) was released in September 2005. Big Road released their first album "Refugees In The Promised Land" October 25th 2006.
